At the Teleschool Pakistan App and Google for Education and Digital Continuous Professional Development Initiative launch ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed the importance of upgrading education in Pakistan and equipping teachers with the latest training.
During the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced plans to establish a network of Daanish schools in remote areas of Balochistan and emphasized the importance of providing education to orphans. He underscored that prioritizing the imparting of the latest education to the younger generation is vital.

The prime minister lauded the efforts of the Federal Education Minister, Education Ministry, and other partners, and acknowledged the significant impact of the latest technology in revolutionizing the education sector of the country.
Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain also addressed the gathering and highlighted that the COVID-19 pandemic had presented an opportunity for adopting distance learning methods. He further revealed that six channels were being launched under the initiative, which would serve as a significant milestone in the country’s education system. The Minister also noted that Pakistan currently has about 22.8 million out-of-school children, and the recent initiatives would help meet their educational needs.
