The University of Sargodha is a fully public sector university which is located in Sargodha city of Punjab, Pakistan it was established in 1929 as De’Montmorency College, and later renamed change to Government college was awarded the Charter in 2002.
The university has colleges of Agriculture and Medicine in its suburbs and a sub-campus at Bhakkar, the university currently has 800 faculties including 300 Ph.D., and 500 other faculties, with 22 departments, 3 institutes, 1 school, and 5 constituent colleges which come under seven faculties of Sciences, social sciences, Medical and Health Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Arts and Humanities.
And they are assisted by about 1,200 administrative staff also there are 260 affiliated public and private colleges of this university across the province.
