Getafe vs Real Madrid, 2024 La Liga: Predicted lineups

Getafe vs Real Madrid: Real Madrid visit Getafe with midfielder Jude Bellingham back in the starting lineup after missing the last game against Las Palmas due to yellow cards.

Real Madrid predicted XI: Lunin, Carvajal, Rudiger, Nacho, Mendy, Tchouameni, Valverde, Modric, Bellingham, Vinicius, Rodrygo.

Getafe predicted XI: Soria, Iglesias, Dakonam, Alderete, Rico, Carmona, Maksimovic, Milla, Greenwood, Unal, Mayoral.

Getafe are a very strong and gritty defensive team who won’t make it easy for Real Madrid to score a goal, meaning that Los Blancos will need to be clinical in the chances they get if they want to score the three points and lead the table.

Real Madrid agree deal for tech giant HP to be first-ever sleeve sponsor

Real Madrid has secured an agreement with HP, marking the American technology giant as their first-ever sleeve sponsor. The La Liga club teased the deal on Thursday through a social media video featuring a desk and computer placed on the Santiago Bernabeu pitch.

Despite speculation linking the announcement to a potential signing, such as Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid surprised fans by revealing their partnership with HP on Friday. While the exact details of the long-term contract remain undisclosed, reports in Spain suggested it could be valued at €70 million ($75.7 million; £59.7 million) per season, a figure denied by sources close to the deal who preferred to remain anonymous.

The HP deal, though substantial, is reported to be less lucrative than Madrid’s agreements with Adidas and Fly Emirates. This partnership effectively ends the possibility of a sponsorship deal with HP’s competitor, Apple, following Madrid’s interest in a collaboration after a visit from Apple’s CEO Tim Cook to their Valdebebas headquarters in September. Madrid had previously engaged in a partnership with Microsoft for the “digital transformation” of the club from 2014 to 2018.

Real Madrid’s primary sponsors include kit manufacturer Adidas and front-of-shirt sponsor Fly Emirates. However, the agreement with HP marks the first time the club will carry a company’s logo on their sleeve. In addition to these main sponsors, Real Madrid has ‘global sponsors’ in various categories, featuring 15 brands like Mahou, Visit Dubai, and BMW. The club also has ‘regional sponsors,’ including Unicaja bank, Playstation, Codere gambling company, and Sanitas health service.

Emirates has been associated with Madrid since 2011, becoming their front-of-shirt sponsor in 2013. The partnership was extended until 2026 in 2022, with a reported annual value of €70 million. Adidas, Madrid’s kit provider since 1998, renewed their deal until 2028 in 2019, with a reported annual value of €120 million.
